See, that’s party my problem with the SMN forums is that each band have their own page and then there’s general discussion pages for every band’s communities. I agree that SMN wouldn’t give every band.

So far response to the idea of a new forum has been overwhelmingly positive so I%27ve already gone ahead and started working on one. It wouldn’t be an official forum, but it will be a step up from what’s on offer at the moment. Apparently Dillinger Escape Plan are launching an official website come March this year, to coincide with Option Paralysis. I’m not sure if they’ll have a forum, which will replace the need to have an unofficial one, or even if their new site will replace the need for this site, but I have a feeling that neither will be the case as I’m trying to make these as community driven as possible.

and what do you mean no seperation from normal discussion? thats what every non-band forum on smn is for. its not like they are gonna give every band forum its own subforums.

but anyways, smn is a shit site in general, and id love to see an official DEP forum outside of it, i know personally id be more inclined to be involved without the association. also would be more inclined to be involved if the band themselves participated as well.
