Soundwave Festival - DEP Officially Announced

The Dillinger Escape Plan have now been officially added to the list of bands performing at Soundwave Festival in Australia, 2009. General admission tickets go on sale November 13 for $130 + booking fee/postage. Even though this post was made a little while ago, keep the following in mind if you are considering holding out for a sideshow:

The only sideshow which has been confirmed for Soundwave Festival 2009 has been Goldfinger, which will replace their previously postponed tour, and dates are to be released. It has not been confirmed if any other Sideshows for Soundwave Festival 2009 will be taking place.

....Oh yeah, the tour dates we were talking about! I almost forgot. ;-) We have a lot of stuff in the works, but we'll throw out a little treat right now for our fans in Australia. We're playing Soundwave in 2009!!! We haven't been added to the official contest webpage yet because the webmasters there are slacking, but we're definitely playing. Stay tuned for details.

Early bird tickets have already gone on sale for the Brisbane and Sydney shows, but here are the rest of the dates for ticket sales in other cities:

Melbourne: Saturday 25th @ 9am

Adelaide: Sunday 26th @ 9am

Perth: Sunday 26th @ 9am
